ADVOCATING FOR GREEN BUSINESS INITIATIVES

Margaret “Meg” Lowman, Ph.D.frequently advises organizations and corporations and serves on boards as an advocate and consultant for sustainability missions, conservation efforts, and green business initiatives. Her experience as a scientist, researcher, professor, and passionate champion for forest conservation and the Earth allows her to provide deep wisdom and practical insights gleaned from decades of hands-on work in sustainability-challenged hotspots around the globe.

She currently is a sustainability consultant for green business initiatives at the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation, the Rolex Corporation, and The Habitat Penang Hill.

A partial list of board of directors on which she has served include The Explorers Club, Earthwatch Institute, Plant with Purpose, Ecological Society of America, Pacific Forest Trust, New College of Florida, Leadership Florida, Association of Tropical Biology and Conservation, Environmental Change Institute (Oxford University), National Ecological Observatory Network, and Williams College.
